Mickey’s Mix Magic

Similar to last year’s Pixar-themed nighttime spectacular during the successful Pixar Fest promotion throughout the resort, Disneyland Park is once again presenting a new nighttime show that is sure to have guests smiling. Mickey’s Mix Magic, the outstanding new show, presents a great mix of dazzling lights and awesome projections that will be sure to amaze guests over the course of the celebration. With locations at various locations around the park such as Main Street, USA, the Rivers of America, and “it’s a small world”, Mickey’s Mix Magic also has a phenomenal soundtrack, with new spins on traditional Disney songs such as “Friend Like Me”, “Grim Grinning Ghosts”, and “Let It Go”. Although only available on select nights and with few fireworks being shot into the California sky, Mickey’s Mix Magic is a fine addition to an already-great Disneyland entertainment lineup.

Mickey’s Soundsational Parade

A daytime staple for Disneyland’s entertainment schedule, Mickey’s Soundsational Parade returns once again to celebrate Mickey’s 90th birthday. Adding to the already-phenomenal lineup of floats featuring characters from films such as The Lion King and The Little Mermaid, Mickey and friends have made a triumphant return with a brand-new opening sequence to the parade, featuring classic Disney characters like Goofy, Chip, and Dale. Usually taking up time slots around 3:30 and 6:00 p.m., the parade travels to and from Main Street, USA, all the way to the back right corner of the park near “it’s a small world” and is viewable from many areas on Main Street and Fantasyland. The return of this classic parade is sure to be a treat for park goers as they celebrate the mouse who started it all at The Happiest Place on Earth.
