There’s plenty of unique, standout uniforms in the National Football League, especially when it comes to the league’s recent Color Rush additions (via Zimbio).

With several teams set to roll out some new uniforms in April, we thought it would be a great time to evaluate some of the best uniforms found anywhere in the NFL. From throwback looks to fan favorite color rush uniforms, many teams around the league have their fair share of combinations that wow fans around the country. With that being said, here’s our rundown of our top ten favorite uniforms in the league, and other suggestions we have for the future of the league.

10. Arizona Cardinals Home Black and Whites

Kyler Murray’s Cardinals have some cool uniforms, but their combination of black and white ranks among the NFL’s best (via Los Angeles Times).

Maybe it is due to the fact that the Cardinals have some mostly boring uniforms otherwise, but Arizona’s black jersey and white pants combination is one of the best looks in the NFL. The uniform is simple and a true alternate uniform to their traditional red and white, which makes it a fan favorite for Cardinals’ fans when they run out of the tunnel. The Red Sea truly has a gem with these looks, and they should do all that they can to keep these around for a long time in the Kyler Murray-era.

9. Minnesota Vikings Purple Color Rush

The Vikings have sharp uniforms in the first place, but their color rush uniforms really stand out among the group (via Pro Sports Extra).

Purple uniforms are one of the coolest colors to roll out on any sports’ field, but Minnesota takes the cake for the best one found throughout the NFL. Although Baltimore has some awesome color rush looks as well, Minnesota’s all-purple look including their helmet gives a unique look that seems almost too good to be true. The Vikings do not wear these uniforms very often, but the all-purple uniform is one of the best color rush outfits found anywhere in the NFL.

8. Dallas Cowboys Home Whites

With the infamous Star front and center, the Cowboys’ home uniforms are one of the most classic looks in all of football (via Bleacher Report).

Historic, classic, and meaningful in every way, the Cowboys’ home uniforms are simply one of the better uniforms in the league. Although they may not stand out compared to other uniforms on the list, Dallas’ simplicity on their white uniforms and silver pants helps their helmets stand out in a major way with the well-know Star clearly visible. They may not be the most beloved team in the league, but there’s no denying that the Cowboys have one of the most iconic jerseys in all of sports.

7. Las Vegas Raiders White Color Rush

The Raiders’ color rush uniforms are a welcome addition to an otherwise boring collection of outfits (via North Jersey).

Many people could disagree with this and point toward the Raiders’ classic black home uniforms, but their color rush uniforms are surely a sight to see when they bring them out. Eliminating their notorious black in favor of a silver and white combination, the now-Las Vegas Raiders have one of the most unique color rush uniforms in the league and steal the show whenever they wear them. The Raiders may not change their traditional uniforms any time soon, but their newest additions really pops when they wear them in front of The Black Hole.

6. Atlanta Falcons Black Throwbacks

Julio Jones looks even more dominant in the Falcons’ awesome throwback look (via The Falcoholic).

One of the best present-day throwback uniforms in the NFL, the Falcons truly have one of the most imposing and awesome uniforms in the league. With heavy shades of black followed by the subtle nature of white and red on their socks and outlining the numbers, Matt Ryan and the Falcons typically run out these uniforms once or twice a year to a positive reaction. The Falcons are due to get new looks all-around next year, and we can only hope that these throwback black uniforms become their permanent home uniforms.

5. New York Giants Color Rush

Although they are not bright or flashy, the Giants’ old-school color rush uniforms are a true gem (via USA Today).

The Giants’ awesome combination of old-school and new-school really stands out in their current color rush uniforms, one of the best of the series. Although it is primarily an away uniform according to league standards, the Giants’ former logo on their helmets combines well with the small hints of red and blue along the sides of their pants and in their numbers. There’s nothing truly special about these uniforms, but it is hard to deny just how well these work on-the-field for New York.

4. Pittsburgh Steelers Black Color Rush

The Steelers’ menacing all-black look is one of the most popular fits in the league (via Behind the Steel Curtain).

These next four are neck and neck for the top spot, which begins with the best all-black uniforms in the league. Outside of the Raiders, no team in the NFL is better suited to roll out overpowering all-black uniforms than the Steelers, which throws in a fair amount of yellow to add some heavy color to the uniform. Every time the Steelers wear these imposing uniforms, it is deservedly welcomed with a thunderous applause from the Pittsburgh Faithful inside of the always-packed Heinz Field.

3. Miami Dolphins Aqua Throwbacks

The Dolphins’ throwback look hints back to Miami’s glory days with Dan Marino under center (via Bleacher Report).

Miami has great uniforms in general, but they truly take a step toward the next level whenever they wear any kind of uniforms from the past. The Dolphins also have great white throwbacks as well, but their aqua, Marino-era uniforms are truly a beauty every time they take the field. The uniform is nearly perfect with the aqua and orange balanced throughout, and Miami should seriously consider making these their permanent home uniforms for the foreseeable future.

2. San Francisco 49ers White Throwbacks

The 49ers’ most recent uniform addition has been a huge favorite among fans (via SFGate).

The Niners just added these beautiful uniforms, and they have been an overwhelming fan favorite right from the get-go. Certainly the best all-white uniform in the league, the 49ers old-school numbers compliment the gold that follows on one of the league’s best helmets. San Francisco, like Miami, has great uniforms in general, but these new uniforms are certainly in a league of their own among their current collection in the Bay Area.

1. Los Angeles Chargers Home Powder Blues

The flair and swagger of the Chargers’ historical powder blue uniforms are hard to match on-the-field (via USA Today).

Many uniforms could have taken the top spot, but the Chargers’ powder blues have long been considered the best uniform in the league. Largely due to the unique pop of the powder blue complimented by a swaggering yellow, the Chargers' now-permanent home uniforms are a true beauty every time Los Angeles takes the field. They take the top spot by inches over San Francisco and Miami, but there’s no denying just how great these uniforms are on a bright, Southern Californian afternoon.
